What is Genealogy?
Genealogy is the study of one's family history or in other words, it is the study of family’s pedigree. Genealogy helps us to understand about our origin or where we belong to. It can also help us to find out lost relatives from an ancestor. Normally, to gather information related to family history, we start it from home by talking our relatives and keeping information about ancestors.

It may possible that you can not track down a complete genealogical record related to your family tree due to incomplete written records or lost data over the period of time. But the latest tool in genealogy helps to combine the research of written records with the latest development made in science by using a person’s DNA. This method of tracking down family tree is called genetic genealogy.

What is Heraldry?
Heraldry is the practice of devising, designing, granting, displaying armorial bearings also known as coat of arms. In Middle age, the bravest of nobles called knight wore different coats of arms which made them recognizable. The importance of coats of arms tempted powerful landlords into forcing their sons to become knighthood as a way of connecting powerful families with other well known families. The young knights would travel Europe as guests to promote their ancestry while wearing shields and finery bearing colors and family insignia.
